Residents who receive assistance from the Women, Infants, and Children program, also known as WIC, now have access to upgraded benefits. The state of Texas has introduced new EBT cards for WIC recipients.

These upgraded cards come with real-time benefit tracking and other features. A new app, called myWIC, has also been updated to work with the new cards, allowing users to track their benefits and receive updates remotely. The app also includes new security features to protect user information.
